Our Favourite Peak District Wedding Venues

 In Weddings

With such a beautiful landscape, amazing views and friendly people; it’s no wonder so many people choose to get married here. With lots of Peak District wedding venues to choose from, I thought I’d put together a list of my favourite – all of which we can cater!

1. Peak District Holiday Barn.
This is our favourite for the smaller, family focused wedding. Stay for a long weekend in the barns and use their beautiful lawned gardens for your marquee wedding.  They have plenty of space for camping and even have their own BBQ area and outdoor pizza oven - (just call on the pizza making experts!)

2. Darwin Lake
Hire your very own wedding village! This really is the pièces de résistance of Peak District wedding venues. Darwin lake is set within 10 acres of woodland and has accommodation on site for up to 110 guests. With a private lake, lawns, a hall and 17 stone-built cottages – it’s great for creating a real party atmosphere.

3. Portland House c1870
On the edge of Matlock Bath, this house has breath-taking views… and even has its own bar for you to use as you wish. The house very much has a Downton Abbey touch to it, especially the servant bells! Ding ding – Pizza anyone?

4. Swainsley Farm
An idyllic hideaway looking over the Manifold Valley. One of the prettiest spots in Derbyshire. Swainsley farm is made up of a cluster of cottages with a well-equipped marquee site. A quick heads up: These guys get booked up well in advance for weddings.
